Founded in 2003, Occam is a specialist MGA dedicated to providing insurance to the space industry. It is a leading provider of space insurance and reinsurance to the global market, working with leading space brokers to provide custom products to the space industry.

Occam operates as a Managing General Agency (MGA), underwriting on behalf of the top rated security of Lloyd’s of London. We build long-lasting relationships with our capacity providers in order to generate long term profitability. This also ensures peace of mind for our space industry clients, that their risks are protected by secure and committed support.

In 2023 Occam was acquired by Brown and Brown Europe, a subsidiary of the large US insurance broker Brown & Brown Inc.
